This was November 10th, 2021.
On this day, I had lunch plans with my mother. When I texted her and told her I was wrapping up my morning painting, she replied that she believes she caught a bug and will not be able to meet for lunch. It wasn’t covid but it was downhill from that day on, leading to her passing, ten quick days later.
It is now a new year and I’m beginning to uncurl from the fetal position that I’ve taken comfort in over the last couple months. Not to say that I’ve done nothing more than watch all 5 seasons of The Wire from that comfortable spot of our couch, I also did manage to do good deal of painting, just haven’t felt like posting.
That being said I’ll have to do some catching up with social media and my website.
